of Kegs & Roses…

Once a year…

…we invite the public to experience the spiritual home of our regenerative artist residency, the internationally recognized rose garden of historic Beckett Castle on the rocky cliffs of the Atlantic Ocean. Every year is different, with the roses at peak bloom, floral installations, and artists from Maine and around the world. This special fundraiser officially marks the opening of our summer season, helping to support our main stage production.

5-6pm: enjoy local brews from our sponsors at Allagash Brewing, a glass of wine from a local supplier, or an oyster from our sponsors at Lady Shuckers, while wandering the garden at peak bloom which features over 70 varieties of heirloom roses.

6-7pm: be serenaded by our 2026 artists-in-residence in an unforgettable Maine summer outdoor concert accompanied by the crashing ocean waves. This year, powered by solar energy thanks to our new partnership with Revision Energy.

Also consider joining our Regenerative Arts CSA, which for a $500 half share gives you one ticket or for a $1000 full share gives you two tickets to all of Hogfish’s events for a summer season, including quarterly, seasonal, CSA member only salons ensuring access to high quality, local, regeneratively minded arts experiences all year round.

This event takes place in the private garden of Beckett Castle. Access to the venue includes a 3-5 minute walk from the shuttle dropoff point, including some sloped, uneven, grassy terrain.
